We are overwhelmed! 50,000 people demonstrated peacefully with us today in Frankfurt from the Main via Römerberg and Paulsplatz to the Zeil against the AfD and the shift to the right in our society!

The rally was organised by a broad alliance of civil society, trade unions, NGOs and initiatives of marginalised people. Speeches were given by Mike Josef (Oberbürgermeister der Stadt Frankfurt),
Eleonore Wiedenroth Coulibaly and Hadija Haruna-Oelker (Initiative Schwarzer Menschen in Deutschland), Yasmin Alignaghi (Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband), Holger Kamlah (evangelischer Stadtdekan, Römerbergbündnis), Newroz Duman (Initiative 19. Februar), Meron Mendel (Bildungsstätte Anne Frank), Philipp Jacks (DGB), Eva Walther (Frankfurt solidarisch) and Hibba Kauser gehalten. The OhOhOhs and Shantel provided welcome movement and a great atmosphere.

We sent a strong signal today in Frankfurt and showed that we do not tolerate racist ideologies in our society, but instead actively stand up for our fellow human beings. Yesterday, today and tomorrow.
